Water
We are pleased to announce Well No. 5 is once again producing water for our customers. It has been shut down for several years after discovery of naturally-occurring arsenic at levels above EPA standards, said Manager Jim Groff.
An arsenic removal system has been installed at a cost of about $150,000, said Groff. Tests show the water complies will all federal and state requirements, he said.
The well is capable of producing up to 1 million gallons of water over a 30-day period.
